Brandon Deckert-Owner

Brandon has been a sworn law enforcement officer since 2007, after graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice. The first 15 were spent as a State Trooper, responding to calls and interdicting criminals. Brandon has been a narcotics detection handler since 2011, and is currently handling his third police K-9 and specializes in criminal interdiction.

For the past 3+ years, Brandon has been a supervisor, responsible for overseeing a state-level K-9 unit including explosives and narcotics detection teams.

His highly decorated career and unique prospective gained by being a K-9 handler and supervising a large unit has given him an expansive base of knowledge to share.

American Working Dog (AWD)

National Police K-9 Association (NPCA)

California Narcotics Canine Association (CNCA)

International Police Canine Association (IPCA)

Brandon is a certified K-9 Trainer and a K-9 Certifying Official for the International Police Canine Association (IPCA)

Brandon also serves as the lead instructor of the Criminal Interdiction section for a state agency’s police academy, where he trains and mentors future law enforcement officers.

As a lifelong outdoorsman, Brandon has always had a passion for shed antler gathering. Brandon has coupled his experience training police dogs with his love of this hobby to offer shed antler retrieval dogs as well as training for high drive dogs you may already own.
